College Women's Gameday: South Florida at No.7 Florida

NEED TO KNOW: South Florida will face a big challenge as it travels to Gainesville to face the Gators. Nationally ranked, and considered the favorite to win the SEC, Florida won 3-0 against Florida International in its last outing on second half goals by Lindsay Thompson, Erika Tymrak and Brooke Thigpen.

South Florida got a second half goal from Noelle Pineiro to defeat Florida Atlantic in its home opener on Friday night. It will need to overturn the past history between the two schools, as the Gators have won both previous meetings. Florida won 4-0 the last time the two teams played in 2007, and won 5-0 in 2000.
