NEED TO KNOW: Coach Joel Harrison’s Lions open against Clearwater Christian College, which finished last season ranked No.7 in the National Christian Colleges Athletic Association with a 9-7-2 record. Saint Leo will miss the now graduated All-America third-teamer Eusebio Montoya, who scored 14 goals last season, and Glenn Whitsett, who led the Lions with eight assists.
Jonathan Glenn, who scored 11 goals last season, does return for the Lions, while local fans will recognize a number of names on the roster, including former Freedom High standouts Bobby Huertas, Kyle Peel and Mike Panter.
