Voters were not allowed to vote for their own school in the poll.

Tampa was second in the SSC last season, and returns nine starters including goalkeeper Ryan Thompson, midfielder Pascal Milien and defender Dan Ingvarsson, who were all SSC first-team selections a season ago.

Saint Leo was picked to finish fifth in the nine-team conference, while Eckerd College was picked seventh.

Saint Leo's women, however, were picked to earn back-to-back SSC championships.

Tampa was picked to finish fourth in the women's poll, while Eckerd, which went winless in SSC play a season ago, was selected ninth.
