WHEN: Sunday, 10 a.m., Pepin-Rood Stadium.
NEED TO KNOW: The University of Tampa’s womens soccer team will try to rebound from a 2-2 draw against North Georgia on Friday night where the Spartans lost a 2-0 lead with 15 minutes to play as they face Grand Valley State.
The Spartans got goals either side of halftime from Jazmin Perry and Sara Kneeland against North Georgia. They should be sternly tested against the Lakers, which drew 0-0 with No.6 Columbus State on Friday.
The Lakers are led by defender Natalja Stanski, who was named to the Daktronics All-America first team a season ago.
