Colleges: Late goal sinks Bulls against Knights

Central Florida’s Nicolette Radovcic scored the only goal of the game in the 89th minute as the Knights grabbed a 1-0 victory against South Florida on Sunday afternoon at the UCF Soccer Complex in Orlando.

In a tightly played, defensive game, neither side seriously threatened to score until Radovcic found the game-winner. Noelle Pineiro had the Bulls only shot on goal, while Bulls goalkeeper Mallori Lofton-Malachi made only one save as the Knights struggled to hit the target despite taking 13 shots total.

South Florida will now travel to face Marquette in its Big East opener next Thursday at 8 p.m. before closing out its non-conference schedule against Stetson next Sunday.
