College Women's Matchday: Tampa vs. Chowan at Columbus State Tournament

WHEN: Sunday, 11 a.m., Columbus, Ga.

NEED TO KNOW: The Spartans will try to earn their first win of the season against a Chowan side that lost 6-0 to Columbus State on Friday night.

Jazmin Perry has a pair of goals in three games this season, including one in the Spartans’ 3-2 loss to Tusculum on Friday. Tampa’s main issues have come in defense, though, having given up nine goals in three games so far. Kendall Bourdon has started all three games in net for the Spartans, but was pulled at halftime of the Tusculum game, being replaced by Saige Steinmetz.

Chowan is currently 1-3 to open the season, its only win coming against Coker College 2-1 on August 30.
