College Women's Matchday: LSU at South Florida

NEED TO KNOW: South Florida will try to get its season back on track against LSU after a scoreless tie against Florida International in its opening game of the Dafeldecker Classic on Friday.

The Bulls came close to winning Friday’s game in overtime when Chelsea Klotz hit the crossbar under a minute into the first extra session. Klotz, who led the Bulls with four goals last season, has yet to find the net so far this year, Noelle Pineiro the only player to have scored in the regular season so far.
LSU will be the Bulls second and final SEC opponent this regular season after USF lost 2-1 to No.7 Florida last Sunday. The Tigers also played to a 0-0 tie against Central Florida on Friday, and is currently 1-1-1.
