WHEN: Sunday, 1 p.m., Gettler Stadium
NEED TO KNOW: The Bulls will continue their drive to reach the Big East tournament as they face a Cincinnati team that enters the game on a three-game losing streak.
The Bearcats (7-8-2, 2-5-1 Big East) lost 1-0 to Marquette on Friday night to fall further out of contention for a top-four finish in the Big East National division, but could prove a dangerous opponent for the Bulls as Louisville did on Friday.
South Florida (7-5-3, 4-2-2) will look to get off to a better start against the Bearcats than it did against the Cardinals. Despite coming away with a 3-0 win in Louisville, the Bulls played into Louisville’s hands in the first half allowing the Cardinals to outshoot them 9-2. Cincinnati has scored 15 goals in the first half, compared to six in the second, meaning the Bulls may not be able to afford a similar first half performance to the one they produced on Friday.
