WHEN: Friday, 7 p.m., Cardinal Park
NEED TO KNOW: South Florida will look to earn a vital three points as it faces a Louisville side that has struggled to find form this season in Big East play as the Bulls open run of four road games to close the regular season.
The Bulls came from behind for a 2-1 win at home against Connecticut on Sunday, Gina Pacheco being named to the Big East honor roll and as a CollegeSoccer.com Primetime Performer after scoring a goal and adding an assist in the Bulls victory. They now stand in fifth place in the Big East American division standings, tied with Marquette and one point behind UConn.
With the top four berths in the division qualifying for the Big East tournament, USF will hope to take advantage of a Louisville side that has won only once in seven Big East games, and end a five-game losing streak to the Cardinals in the process. The Cardinals only victory in Big East play was a 2-0 victory against Syracuse, and they have lost two in a row to Georgetown and Villanova since then.
