Saint Leo’s Hannah Beard was been named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Women’s All-South first team when the awards were announced on Wednesday afternoon.Beard was named to the team for the second season in a row after leading the Lions with 12 goals in 16 games this season. Beard’s Saint Leo teammates Fran Williams, Chrissy Darwell and Pia Soesemann were also honored, being named to the third team.
The University of Tampa also had four players named to the third team, with Jazmin Perry, Brittan Spence, Pasquale Anderson and Samantha Kay all honored.
