With the five classes pared down their respective 32 teams after last week's district tournaments, the boys region tournaments get underway tonight across the bay area.
Here's my look at the match-ups involving Hillsborough County schools from this morning's Tampa Tribune, while the Tribune's Mike Camunas previews the two match-ups in Pasco County here.
In other prep news, Freedom girls coach Chris Hinkle has decided to step down after four seasons leading the Patriots program. Personally, I will miss Coach Hinkle on the prep beat. I thought he did an excellent job with the Patriots, leading them to a dominant victory in the district tournament this season, and hope he stays involved with Fusion FC in the club game.
