WHEN: Saturday, 7:30 p.m., University FieldNEED TO KNOW: Saint Leo will try to end a four-game losing streak, and earn its first Sunshine State Conference win in the process, as the Lions face Florida Tech on Saturday night.
The Lions (3-5-0, 0-2-0 SSC) have been edged out in one-goal games in their last three outings, including a 2-1 loss to Eckerd in St. Petersburg on Tuesday night in which they held a halftime lead. The Lions last victory came on Sept. 11, when they defeated Georgia Southwestern State 3-0.
Florida Tech (5-5-0, 0-3-0) has also opened its SSC schedule poorly, losing all three of its conference games so far. In their last outing, the Panthers were handed a 5-0 loss by No. 14 Rollins on Wednesday night. Stanley Abada leads the Panthers with four goals.
