College Women's Matchday: No.13 Rutgers at South Florida

WHEN: Sunday, 1 p.m., USF Soccer Stadium

NEED TO KNOW: The Bulls will face one of the toughest tests of the Big East schedule as Rutgers comes to the USF Soccer Stadium. The Scarlet Knights have only lost once this season, and are 3-0-1 in Big East play after a 3-1 win at Marquette on Friday night.

A big key to the Scarlet Knights success has been their defense, which has only conceded six goals in 12 games so far this season. Goalkeeper Erin Guthrie has recorded an .848 save percentage in 11 starts. That could make things tough for a Bulls squad looking for its third consecutive victory. Chelsea Klotz scored the only goal of the game against Seton Hall on Friday night as South Florida won consecutive games for the first time this season.

Rutgers’ attack has been led by Ashley Jones, who has scored eight goals and added three assists. The Scarlet Knights have scored 23 goals so far this season with Karla Schacher adding four goals and Stefanee Pace with three.
