South Florida midfielder Taylor Patterson has been named to the Big East All-Freshman team, and the All-Conference third team as the conferences honors were announced on Thursday night.
Patterson is the first Bull to be named to the Big East All-Freshman team since the Bulls joined the conference. She is also the first USF player to receive all-conference honors since Lindsay Brauer was named to the All-Conference second team in 2007.
Patterson was tied for the team lead in assists, recording five along with Noelle Pineiro. She is also in contention for a berth on the Canadian under-20 team that will compete in CONCACAF qualifying for the 2010 World Cup to be held in Guatemala in January.
